Salmon caught last week:

The first 2 grilse were reported from the river yesterday, both at around 4lbs and in decent condition. Yours truly had No 5 off the Association water on the back of the last 5ft spate, the Willie gunn conehead was responsible and the Flat pool was the location - the fish was sea-liced and weighed 10lbs. Sea-trout are now arriving daily and if the river stays on the low side sport should be good throughout the system. Please also note that Association water visitor tickets have been updated recently and slight restrictions have been made to starting times.
