Personally I use the 15ft 4pc Cross S1, Gaelforce 10/11 Spey line with a selection of Gaelforce tips ( density compensated 6 & 10ft ). I chose to use a Loop Evotec salmon reel because it is machined to a very high spec, has a superb and reliable drag, it looks great and has never let me down playing hundreds of salmon up to 25lbs.
