last week provided around 15 fish for the rotation. Rain on Monday night generated the first real spate of the season but this was not enough to tempt in too many fish. Alistair Jappy had an early fish in the Association water on Monday and this was followed by an unseasonable 2lbs grilse to the rod of Mick Butterly. High water spoiled things on Tuesday and the rest is history! It is very evident that few fish are on the coast and we are experiencing a very quiet April.
